Almost one year ago to the day, I went to Las Vegas to celebrate one of the greatest films of all time besides The Shining.

The Wizard of Oz was the inspiration behind last year’s themed art collection, which I called The Red Brick Road.

A few days after launching the collection, I went on a completely on-theme celebratory trip to Las Vegas to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere—wearing only green outfits, for absolutely no reason at all.

I love working in themes. I love building a weird little world that no one understands and then living inside of it for a while.

My Dad’s sudden passing during the design process of The Red Brick Road changed a lot of my routine for many months and ultimately resulted in me not producing a themed collection this year.

I do, however, have some very fun themes planned for 2027 and 2028 that I am SO excited to eventually share with you. 2028 doesn’t even sound like a real year!

Our online shop {link in bio} will remain open, but our fulfillment studio is closing for a short Labor Day vacation beginning tomorrow 9.1 through Wednesday, 9.8.

Orders can still be placed as usual during this time, but please kindly note that shipping will resume after Wednesday 9.8.

*Insert cat scream* ~ We just listed our newest creation for Fall! Meet our “Fraidy Cat”, a retro-vintage inspired, handcrafted black cat textile wall hanging featuring embroidered details, articulated limbs, and a sparkling silver tinsel spine.
I know so many of us love vintage folk art and classic Halloween imagery, this heirloom piece hopes to bring new life to those beloved illustrations, and displayed seasonally or all year round if you choose.

A long time ago another artist compared a specific part of my life story to Yayoi Kusama, the details of which I will keep private. This always caused me to think of her often and I am now very saddened by her passing. 💔

Known for their subtle luminous sheen, the Chanderi textiles used in our 🎪 Carnival Skirts 🎪 are handwoven using centuries-old handloom traditions.

Sourced in Madhya Pradesh, India, this red-and-natural striped textile has been reimagined into a relaxed, full-length skirt with a gathered silhouette, adjustable drawstring waist, and oversized patch pocket. The pocket turns the stripe horizontally for one small, unexpected detail.

The Red + White Stripe feels graphic and familiar from afar, but the lightweight handwoven fabric and delicate sheen make it something altogether more special up close.
