Your story did not begin with you.

Behind you is a lineage of lives lived, choices made, hardships endured, wisdom carried, and love passed forward—sometimes clearly, sometimes through generations of silence.

In Shamanic Journey with the Ancestors, Charlotte Eléa invites you into an experiential journey of remembrance.

Through guided shamanic journeying, participants will travel symbolically into the lower world—the realm of the roots—to connect with a “well” ancestor: an ancestral presence experienced as love, support, wisdom, and belonging.

This is an invitation to explore what may live beyond the stories you were told.

To remember that your lineage may hold more than wounds.

It may also hold medicine.

Resilience.

Gifts.

Wisdom.

And a sense of belonging that reaches much further back than one lifetime.

Charlotte will guide participants through visualization and ancestral connection with space to engage only as deeply as feels right for them. No previous experience with shamanic journeying is required.

📚 Your homework before Yosemite Goddess Festival:

Walk over to your bookshelf.

Find one book you’ve finished.

Hold it for a second.

Ask yourself:
Could someone else love this next?

If the answer is yes, bring it to our Book Exchange in Sequoia Hall.

And while you’re there, find one to take home.

This is the kind of community exchange we love — simple, generous, useful, and full of possibility.

Bonus idea: bring a book that reflects something YOU love. It becomes a tiny introduction to the person who finds it next.

The Alchemist

The Alchemist knows that nothing is wasted.

Every experience, every challenge, every moment of breaking open becomes part of the transformation.

She does not rush the process.
She does not bypass the fire.
She understands that true change happens slowly, intentionally, and with reverence.

This archetype teaches us how to work with what is — to transmute pain into wisdom, experience into power, and intention into reality.

At the Goddess Festival, we honor the Alchemist — the one who knows how to turn lived experience into embodied truth.

You are not here to become someone else.
You are here to refine what you already are.

Your voice remembers.

Before there were explanations, before there were expectations, before you learned to quiet yourself or question what wanted to emerge—there was breath, vibration, sound.

On Sunday at the Yosemite Goddess Festival, Helen Folsom invites you into Your Voice Is Medicine: Goddess Energy, Health, and Wholeness, an embodied experience of breath, movement, humming, sacred sound, and the Goddess presence within.

This is not about performing.

It is not about singing beautifully.

It is about listening deeply enough to discover what your own voice may be carrying.

Through gentle vocal expression and sacred sound forms connected with Goddess traditions, Helen guides participants into a space where the voice becomes more than sound. It becomes remembrance. Release. Courage. Presence. Prayer.

A way to move beyond the mind and into direct experience.

A way to soften what has been held.

A way to reconnect with the part of you that has never forgotten how to be whole.

No musical experience is required.

Only curiosity, willingness, and the courage to let your own voice be heard.

There comes a point when the question is no longer, “What should I do?”

It becomes, “What is actually true for me?”

In Empower Your Self-Sovereignty, Lisa Bennett invites you to return to your own inner authority—to the part of you that can listen beneath stress, expectation, habit, and outside noise.

Through mindfulness practices including Reiki, meditation, and Sacred Drumming, Lisa explores how intentional choices can help us reconnect with our authentic voice, strengthen resilience, and create a healthier relationship with ourselves, money, success, and purpose.

This is not about having everything figured out.

It is about learning to trust yourself more deeply.

About choosing with greater clarity.

About remembering that your life can be shaped from the inside out.

Sometimes what we need most is not another thing to do.

It is a place to become still.

In Crystal Sound Bath with Melissa Horn, Mariposa’s own Melissa invites you to settle in, soften, and simply receive as the tones of crystal singing bowls move through the space around you.

There is nothing to perform. Nothing to get right.

Just a quiet hour to breathe, listen, and allow layers of sound and vibration to create space for reflection, rest, and renewal. Whether sound baths are already part of your practice or this will be your very first experience, you are welcome exactly as you are.

What if the Earth beneath your feet is not simply ground—but a living source of nourishment, energy, and light?

In Raising Earthlight, Charlotte Eléa invites you to experience your relationship with Gaia in a different way.

Through teaching, guided awareness, and experiential practice, Charlotte will introduce Earth Light—the life-giving, creative energy she describes as held within the body of the Earth—and guide participants in consciously connecting with that energy and bringing greater awareness to it within the body.

This is a session about grounding deeply.

About remembering our connection to the living Earth.

About becoming still enough to feel what may already be moving beneath the surface.

Whether energy work is completely new to you or already part of your spiritual practice, no previous experience is needed. Come comfortably dressed, bring water, and perhaps a journal if you would like to capture what arises afterward.

There is something powerful about creating a sacred space together.

At the Yosemite Goddess Festival Community Altar, everyone is welcome to contribute — to share an intention, offer gratitude, honor someone they love, or release something they are ready to leave behind.

Bring a small meaningful item, a written intention, a flower, a photograph, a natural object, or simply a few quiet moments of your presence. Add what feels right to you and become part of a living altar created by our festival community throughout the weekend.

This is a space for intention, remembrance, release, connection, and renewal.

You do not need to follow a particular spiritual path or tradition to participate. Come as you are. Pause. Reflect. Remember. Release. Add your energy to the collective space and witness how it grows as we gather.

There is a quiet kind of wisdom that does not come from doing more.

It comes from remembering how to listen.

In The Nature of the Sacred Self, Amy Duke invites us to explore the sacred not as something distant or outside of ourselves, but as something woven through our bodies, the natural world, and the rhythms of everyday life.

Through the four elements—earth, air, fire, and water—Amy explores the ways nature can become a teacher, helping us reconnect with intuition, inner guidance, and the deeper parts of ourselves that already know how to move through change.

Drawing from years of study in spirituality, tarot, the zodiac, and the psychology of Carl Jung, Amy brings these traditions back to something beautifully simple:

The tools may point the way.
But the wisdom ultimately lives within us.
