It was another big week at Bowlway Lanes. Dakota Resurfacing, Ronnie Grayczyk showed up to do his magic screening the lanes with a 100 grit sanding machine and then coating the lanes with new coats of urethane. The lanes look absolutely beautiful and are ready for bowling again soon!! Here are some pics after the screening and during the coating. These 78 year old lanes are in top notch condition for the start of our 78th bowling season since put down in 1949🎳🎳

USBC’s Lane Inspector Johnny Carr came from North Carolina to Marion on Thursday for our lane inspection. The lanes are calibrated at 5 different locations moving from the foul line to finally under pin deck and 5 different locations left to right on each 42 inch lane. Bowlway Lanes achieved a Gold Level status with a scoring of 96.5% out of a 100%best possible rating. Thanks to all of you for bowling with us over the years and we are proud of the fact that these 78 year old lanes continue to be in Top shape for all our bowlers!! Our fall leagues will begin the week of the 19th of October so let us know if you are interested in bowling with our Men’s and Women’s leagues. 🎳🎳

Thanks to Tony, Renae, Jackie and all the bowlers who showed up for “Tony’s 2 Minute Rush” down at Bowlway Lanes yesterday.
