Cheers to 98 years!
On August 30, 1928, the Marion Palace Theatre opened its doors for the very first time. Ninety-eight years later, the lights are still shining, the curtain is still opening, and new memories are still being made.
Through generations of movies, live performances, concerts, community productions, special events, and so much more, the Palace has been a place for Marion to gather, celebrate, laugh, and be entertained.
And none of those 98 years would be possible without this community. To every patron, performer, volunteer, member, sponsor, donor, and friend who has been part of the Palace story—thank you.
Here’s to 98 years of memories and to all that is still to come.
