Southern Illinois Raceway (SIR) is a quick, high-banked 1/8th mile clay oval most often seeing lap times in the 9 - 11 second range. The popular raceway is located approximately 5 miles east of Marion, Illinois on Highway 13. The track is completely wrapped with a high, well-supported catch fence atop a strong guardrail. It is known for becoming a slick surface from the infield tires all the way u

p to a fast cushion, right around the outside wall, creating the perfect conditions for lap-after-lap slidejobs and constant 3-wide battles. It has two useable entrances onto the track, located in turns 2 and 4. Weekly racing includes include junior sprints, dwarfs, mod-lites, and four 600cc classes of restrictors, non-wing outlaw, winged outlaw, Sportsman

6 pm driver's meeting/hot laps, 7 pm racing

General Admission (bleachers and lawn chair space available): $8.00, ages 7-12 $4.00, 6 and under free

Pit Pass: $30.00
Driver Fee (includes pit pass): $35.00*



Club Membership Fee: $20.00

🚨🚨 ATTENTION 🚨🚨

A few key pointers going into Hustle Weekend!

1. We will be giving transponders tonight if you would like to watch live timing. You will keep this transponder all weekend.

2. THERE WILL BE NO PERSONAL VEHICLES IN THE PITS. Only tow vehicles allowed (can be unhooked from trailer out of the way.) This is NON negotiable. If a personal vehicle is found in pits before drivers meeting the driver/team the vehicle is with will be penalized.

3. The pit gate will be shut and chained when drivers meeting starts. It will stay shut until the last car exits the track for the night. (Unless an emergency) A track worker will open the gate if needed not you!

4. Please be mindful and pick up after yourself around your trailer. There are plenty of trash cans around the pit area. We work hard to keep our facility in tip top shape.

5. There are no showers on site but the restrooms in the grandstands will remain open the whole weekend

As you prepare for this weekends event and look to head to the track today, please be advised that parking WILL NOT begin until 2pm.

It's best that you do not go to the track until 2 in an effort to alleviate congestion.

Additionally, while sitting in line waiting to be parked, please do not block our neighbor, Tru Bilt's, driveway!
