This mural at Bedrosian Park in Waukegan is finished! Six days of painting and dodging the daily rain later, and this massive 250-ish ft wide wall is now complete. The elements of the mural is meant to cater towards children, and has many different interactive features and opportunities. There are bubbles, wings, a kite, some flowers, a basketball, and many other elements that could be posed with if you are a child!

Waukegan provided some interesting experiences, and I met some even more interesting people. I used a new product for this, called Texcrete to allow the retaining wall to breathe, and to protect the image from moisture.

Starting a cover-up mural in Waukegan IL today! Bedrosian park has a 15-20 year old community mural, and it’s time for a revamp. My first cover-up mural!
Instead of normal paint, I am using a product called Texcrete that is breathable, so that the retaining wall can exude moisture without damaging the image.

Finally finished this piece at Ark Insurance in Johnston City Illinois! It was a fun process painting the different animals, and fitting the artwork onto the different surface angles and textures that this building offered.
Through intense heat, chilly mornings, late nights and early mornings, I chipped away at this mural, and I had to put it on pause when I left town to paint a different mural, so it was a relief to finally paint my signature on the wall.

The mural in the Malden Gaming district is finished! If you happen to be in the Boston area, go check it out on the back of the Boda Borg. A lot of long painting days in the heat to get this mural done on time, but the experience was great and this is a mural I am proud of.

25’x65’, This mural is being painted in Malden Massachusetts which is about 20 minutes out from Boston. I am in Malden’s Gaming District, which is what the theme and inspiration behind this mural is!
I have cameos from chess, mahjong, rubik’s cube, Gameboy(ish) and tetris, card games, computer games, and RPG type tabletop games. I am looking forward to see it come to life across this wall in about a week’s time!

In Massachusetts and laying down that base coat of green on this door, so satisfying! It’s one of my favorite things when a color covers well, and looks smooth with just one or two coats. Progress is moving fast!
Any guesses for what this mural could be? 👀

Well, got rained out on the first day of priming…. I could only reach about 3/4ths of the wall with my 8ft pole and step ladder, just waiting on the lift to get delivered in a day and a half! There is a massive thunderstorm rolling in tomorrow, but I am ready to tackle this wall!!
