When I stopped to have two keys cut this morning at Spencer's Hardware for Ledbetter Properties, I also had to bring home these gorgeous ferns and tradescantia zebrina. Their hanging baskets and garden plants were in beautiful condition. You may also spy 👀 geraniums from Painters Greenhouse in the second picture. They are thriving! Thanks for the beautiful 🌿 plants! Shopping local, whenever possible, is so important for the local economy and the small business owners.

These purchases also checked off some of the squares on my Bingo card for April.

Did you know about the first annual McDowell Literary Festival? You guys know we are a fan of reading, with our in the alleyway. So, this makes us so happy! Plus it will highlight several of the amazing authors we have locally and in WNC. What an exciting time for our town and county. Come out on April 25th and support this Festival. 📚

If you have books you would like to donate, it's a simple process. Just bring them and leave them in the box. I check it regularly, will remove them, and place them back in when they are needed.📚

Today is a gorgeous day in downtown Marion, NC. It would be an awesome day to grab some food, have a drink, then enjoy all our downtown has to offer. This video just highlights one small block, with Refinery 13, The Closet Cleanout, Kids Closet Cleanout, and Mica Town Brewing, but there is so much more beyond. Get out and and everything it has to offer!
