Happening this Saturday, October 19, 2024. Join us as we walk and release ballons in honor, remembrance, and awareness of Breast Cancer. The walk will be followed by dinner at the Marion Depot at 6:00 p.m.

Join us for TRUNK or TREAT on Jefferson St. Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 4:30 p.m.- until treats are gone. FOOD vendors will be allowed to stay downtown until 9:00 p.m. If a vendor plans conduct food sales sign up is required to ensure health code compliance.

All food vendors, businesses, and trunk or treat participants must sign up in City Hall beginning Monday, September 23, 2024.

Decorate you trunk or table to highlight yourself, church, school, college, business, and organization to make it a great community event!!!🎃👻

Join us and Community Walk Organizer and Breast Cancer Advocate Ms. Keycia Heard as we walk in honor of and remember those who fought against breast cancer Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Walk registration starts at 7:00-7:45 a.m. followed by a pink community ballon release at 8:00 a.m. on the Courthouse Square, the Breast Cancer Walk will commence downtown through Main Street (Washington St.) at 8:30 a.m., and the evening will end with a formal Pink & Black Mayoral Breast Cancer Dinner at the Marion Depot at 6:00 p.m. (The Mayoral Dinner is FREE; however, registration is required and must be completed by Friday, October 4, 2024).

Vendors, businesses, community leaders, churches, schools, colleges, organizations, and others are welcome to participate and help us sponsor this event as we provide educational resources, free screenings, and help fight for a cure.

For more information, please contact us at 334-683-6545. We will keep the community posted on how to order t-shirts for the walk via the walk organizer Ms. Heard. Walk participants can also wear pink.
