And this year, there’s one thing we really want to talk about:

Su***de prevention shouldn’t start when someone is already in crisis 💔

Crisis support matters deeply. But so does everything that can happen before that moment 🙏

Prevention means learning to recognize when we’re not okay. Finding words for what we’re feeling. Checking in on someone before they have to ask. Making it easier to say, “I’m having a hard time.”

Because you don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.

You deserve it now. 🩵

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that Creative Routes Mobile Art Studio, in partnership with the DAR Boys & Girls Club of Marinette/Menominee, has been awarded a grant through the Provident Health Foundation Spring 2026 Grant Cycle! 🧡🎨

Creative Clubhouse is an art therapy-led program that brings therapeutic art-making directly to youth at the Club, creating opportunities for creative expression, emotional growth, coping skill development, and connection.

This support will allow us to continue Creative Clubhouse into the 2026–2027 school year while expanding the art therapy services available to youth at the Club—including the addition of individual art therapy sessions!

We’re incredibly grateful to the Provident Health Foundation for investing in this next chapter and helping us continue to make creative expression and emotional wellness support more accessible to youth right where they already are. 💛

Two years. 💛

The photo on the left was taken at National Night Out in 2024. We had just moved back to the Marinette area, and Creative Routes was little more than a dream I carried quietly. I remember walking around with my son, wondering if there was really room for the kind of art therapy practice I imagined building.

Fast forward to this year.

Instead of attending, I was there with a booth for Creative Routes Mobile Art Studio—getting to meet so many wonderful people, sharing our mission, handing out play dough and coloring pages, and talking about the power of creativity and mental health. This time, my 5-month-old daughter got to come along for the ride. 💚

There are still big dreams ahead, but moments like this remind me to pause and look back at how far we've come. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who's supported Creative Routes, believed in this vision, and helped it grow into something I once only imagined.

Here's to dreaming big... and then doing the scary thing anyway. ✨

BIG trailer update!! 🚐✨

Today was a good day. We found the perfect door, gave it a fresh coat of paint, framed out the wall, and got it installed—all thanks to family who generously donated their time (and muscles 💪).

I seriously have so much to be grateful for. Watching this dream slowly come to life has been pretty incredible, and I couldn't be doing it without the amazing people showing up to help along the way. 🩵

Today I am one step closer to bringing art therapy on the road!

Tiny tins, BIG creativity. 🎨💛

Today was play dough making day as we get ready for some upcoming outreach events! We love putting together free take-home goodies that encourage creativity, play, and positive mental health—because sometimes something as simple as a little tin of play dough can spark imagination, relieve stress, and create meaningful moments of connection.

Want to grab some and learn more about Creative Routes? Come see us at National Night Out in Peshtigo this Tuesday from 4:00–8:00 PM! We'll have free play dough, coloring pages, and other creative goodies while supplies last.

🏝️ If we were stranded on a deserted island... I think this group would do just fine. 😉

Our Creative Clubhouse youth wrapped up their collaborative Resilience Islands this week, and they turned out SO much fun! From tiny shelters and hammocks to bridges connecting each island, every piece was created through teamwork, imagination, and a whole lot of creativity.

Now the big question... which island are you claiming? 👀🏖️🎨
