Heart filler yesterday having the first grade class from stop by on their way to the library. ❤️ They were so curious, excited and earnest. It was awesome having them. I might be biased because my daughter is in there but this is a sweet group of kids and the village school is a very special place. Loved seeing their finished projects this morning! ✨

Our grand opening is just 8 weeks away! Creating in this space has already brought us both so much joy. We can’t wait to share it with you. We’ll be working extra hard in the coming weeks to create new work and make the space extra beautiful. Mark your calendar for June 1 & 2 and stay tuned for more details!

We took down the rent sign and got the key, it's official!! We can't wait to get creative in here.

We wanted to introduce ourselves & say a little about the space at 41 Judd Street! We’re Katy and Emily, two local artists who will be turning the space into an artists workshop and gallery!

Our primary goal with the space is to have working art studios. This means we’ll be in there creating art most days and will have scheduled special events where we get to open the doors and connect with our community (that’s you!). We can’t wait to welcome you in sometime this spring.

For now, the space is undergoing improvements and it will take us some time to settle in and get things rolling. You can follow along here Marine Village Artist Studios and also check out our ongoing projects at Katy Helen Art and emily anderson artwork.

Having a space to create and connect is truly a dream, especially in a wonderful place like Marine. We hope to see you soon.❤️
