I’m so excited about the by Steph Blanchard I have had this pattern in my list for a few years now but just hadn’t made it yet and can I just say I’m still in LOVE! Finally have a good picture to share to showcase my by KnitQ I do feel like it came out way longer than I wanted but it’s still a great piece and looks great with a belt! Thanks to slowfiber maker supplies & classroom by Jaki for the suggestion!

Finally able to showcase my by Park & Knit

As you can see it’s a size inclusive pattern that comes in sizes up to 5XL. I made the size L and I think I made the wrong size. It stretches a lot even after blocking so I would definitely size down. Despite the rather scandalous pattern photos this is a great easy project that elevates any beach/pool attire. And there’s nothing like being able to say, “I made it myself!”

I used Purl Soho yarn which is a 50/50 cotton linen fi*****ng yarn in the color alpine lake. This is a great beginner project I highly recommend.

I think this by Erin Gates came out so cute! Unfortunately a bit small :/ I’m not sure why. I feel like several patterns lately have been disappointingly small and I don’t have a huge head! It’s average! As many of you know I am quite an experienced hat maker so I’m a bit stumped. Maybe these designers just have smaller heads. Or maybe I am a super tight knitter? I wouldn’t say that but who knows. Anyway. This adorable hat is available for purchase, send me a message if you’re interested.
