We are looking for 3 actors to finalize the cast for our upcoming staged reading; Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, a bold, hilarious, and unapologetically q***r comedy by Jen Silverman that follows five very different women - all named Betty - as they collide at the intersection of anger, love, identity, and theater. Packed with sharp humor and unexpected heart, this wildly inventive play explores what happens when we stop playing the roles others have written for us and start creating our own.

For anyone who has never experienced this delightfully unique musical, 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆'𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒑: a devoted theatre fan puts on his favorite cast album of a forgotten 1920s Broadway musical. As the record begins to play, the show springs to life right in his living room! What follows is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, show-stopping musical numbers, gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a tipsy chaperone, and a wedding that may or may not make it to the altar. A loving parody of classic Broadway musicals, The Drowsy Chaperone is packed with larger-than-life characters, dazzling songs, and enough comedy to keep you smiling long after the curtain falls.
