🐾🐢 The Git Along Little Doggie Race was a BIG hit in a little way at Love County Frontier Days! 🐢🐾

A huge thank you to all the four-legged contestants who dragged their humans out to join the fun! We absolutely loved getting to meet, pet, and cheer on every doggie that participated.

From adorable costumes to lightning-fast paws, the competition was fierce! Our costume contest had everyone smiling, and the race itself kept the crowd entertained from start to finish. Whether your pup was racing for the finish line or stopping to make new friends along the way, every dog was a winner in our book. β€οΈπŸ•

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈβ€οΈ Thank You for Supporting the Annual Love Run! β€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
The Annual Love Run began in 2023 with a simple goal: to help fund the Love County Chamber Scholarship Program. Thanks to the continued support of our participants, sponsors, and community, the event has grown tremendously. Because of that growth, we have been able to increase our scholarship funding from $300 to $3,000.

Each year, we award two $500 scholarships per school district in Love County to graduating seniors. Scholarships are available to students who are homeschooled or attend public school and can be used toward continuing education at a college, university, or trade school. Our scholarship program places a strong emphasis on community service and giving back to others.

This year, we were excited to welcome 55 runners in the 5K and 8 participants in the Fun Run. Your participation helps make these scholarships possible and directly impacts the future of students throughout Love County.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our volunteers and sponsors for their generous support. Your commitment to our community and our students helps ensure the continued success of this program.

Special shoutout to our Course Sweeper to ensure safety of all our runners Boss Hogg, aka Mayor Destry Rushing.
