The Walton Orchestra program will enroll around 400 students school year in six orchestra classes and AP Music Theory.

Colleagues attending GMEA: Georgia Music Educators Association ISC along with friends, family, and alumni in Athens, please join us on Friday, January 30th at 4:30pm at the Classic Center Theater. We will be performing works by Bach, Gershwin, Holst, Bartok, Gardel, Steiner, and a world premiere of the new orchestra version of Eric Whitacre’s “ i carry your heart.” ♥️ No tickets needed!

Save the date for our November concerts! Both will be at Walton HS in the Bob Cowles Theater. Ethan Lo will be our next soloist from the Class of 2026, performing the 3rd movement of the Dvorak Cello Concerto!

We also kicked off our annual Pie Sale today with Schmoo.Pies! They make the best pies for Thanksgiving and beyond. Order by 11/11 for pick up at the 11/17 concert.
