Lancaster film friends, we’re taking a little road trip! 🎬

The Red Rose Film Festival is proud to sponsor a special screening of the Oscar-winning animated feature FLOW at ReadingFilm Office, and Ryan Shank - Executive Director of the Red Rose Film Festival will have the pleasure of introducing the film.

FLOW follows a cat displaced by a massive flood who finds safety aboard a boat with an unlikely group of animals. It’s a beautiful story about trust, friendship, and learning to navigate the unknown together.

Supporting film in our region means showing up for one another, and we’re grateful to Eliza, Tracy, and the ReadingFilmFEST team for the opportunity to be part of their weekend.

ReadingFilmFEST runs November 6–8, just before Red Rose returns November 12–15. Would love to see some familiar Lancaster faces in Reading!

HONEYWELL, our 2025 Best Short Film and Best Actor award winner, is now streaming exclusively on Omeleto!

Congratulations to Jill V. Dae, Will Graziano, and the entire cast and crew. We were proud to celebrate your work here in Lancaster, and we’re thrilled that more people now have the opportunity to experience it.

When Sophia Honeywell wakes up in a desert-like afterlife, she must compete with a selfish loner for a spot back on Earth and a second chance at life.

Being part of the Red Rose family doesn’t end when the festival does. We love seeing our alumni continue to find new audiences, and this is a milestone worth sharing.

YEAR 7. 🌹🎬

What started in Lancaster, Pennsylvania continues to reach around the world.

Filmmakers from 25 countries and every continent on Earth submitted their work to the 2026 Red Rose Film Festival.

Nearly 200 films. Nearly 200 stories entrusted to us.

Now comes the hard part.

Our team is putting the finishing touches on the 2026 Official Selections and building four days of independent film across Lancaster County, November 12–15.

And we’re getting close.

The Red Rose is getting a little bigger this year.

For 2026, we’re bringing the festival to three venues across Lancaster County.

🎬 Penn Cinema in Lititz
🎬 Zoetropolis in Lancaster
🎬 And for the first time, West Art in Lancaster

Each space brings something different to the weekend, and we’re excited to welcome West Art to this year’s festival.

Four days. Three venues. Filmmakers and stories from around the world, right here in Lancaster County.

Mental health touches every family, every friendship, and every community in ways we often don’t see until someone we love is hurting.

We’re honored to support the 2nd Annual Nicky’s Fight: Strike Out Mental Health event in memory of Nick Celia — a beloved part of the Kegel’s Produce family and the Lancaster community. Events like this remind us that showing up for one another matters, conversations matter, and continued support for organizations like Mental Health America of Lancaster-Lebanon Counties matters.
