Walk-Up Registrations have opened for Sunday, 10/12, the Competition Day!

Who can register: Individuals aged 9 through adult.

How to register: Check in at the red tents located at the corner of West Park Square and South Park Square on the day of the competition.

Individual Division Availability: The Youth Division (Ages 9–12) has many spaces available. The Teen and Adult Divisions have limited spaces available.

School Divisions are full.

Online applications are closed.

🎨 The Community Chalk Competition happens Sunday, Oct 12, sign-ups close Monday, Oct 6 at 5 PM.

Applications for the 2025 Community Chalk Competition at Chalktoberfest close Sunday, October 6 at 5 PM!

Don’t miss your chance to showcase your creativity on the streets of Marietta and compete for awards in your division.

Divisions include:

School Teams: Elementary, Middle, High School (plus non-school groups with qualifying ages)

Individuals: Adult (18+), Teen (13–17), Youth (9–12)

🏆 Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in every division!

Not competing? Kids under 9 (and anyone who just wants to play with chalk!) can join the Open Chalk Area near the competition zones.

🗓 Competition Date: Sunday, October 12, 2025
📍 West Park Square, Marietta
⏰ Check-in starts at 10:30 AM
