The future of the Band of Gold is looking bright! This morning, the Sprayberry Band of Gold welcomed the J.J. Daniell 6th Grade Band for our first-ever 6th Grade Fast Start event!

Our BOG student leaders and the Daniell 8th grade leaders had the opportunity to teach these beginning musicians their very first notes, share tips for caring for their new instruments, and give them a glimpse of what it means to be part of the Band of Gold family.

Our student leaders did an outstanding job serving as teachers and mentors. A special thank-you to Mr. Boyle and Mrs. Brough for bringing your talented students over and helping us build the bridge between Daniell and Sprayberry. We can’t wait to see these young musicians continue to grow.

The future of the BOG is bright!

Oh, what a night! Thanks to all of the future Band of Gold members who participated in our BOG Experience last evening. The BOG welcomed a record number of 8th-grade students from our feeder programs. Thank you, band directors, staff, and parents! We are growing!
