MOXIE with Deb Beroset Deb Beroset

Coaching, community & retreats for women who dare to live their dreams. www.ItsTimeForMoxie.com What do you want to experience? What’s needed?

Moxie is here to create a movement: Women who move toward that which makes them come alive. Whether it’s a matter of taking the first baby step toward that dream of yours, or taking an hour today to just BE — remember this life is YOURS to do with as you wish. And at some point, the credits will roll on this movie. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What do you want to have felt in this lifetime? Who do you want to

be? Soul care: self care for the spirit. 🧡

Which is why Moxie Soul Spa exists—to lovingly support you with instruction, mentoring, resources, support, experiences and conversations that represent self care for your spirit. Oh, by the way: The community itself is one of the most cherished aspects of Moxie. Because to be in conversation and community with other women in that same dance with beautiful questions…is nothing short of delicious.

Something I've been noticing this week, as the women coming to Elle start showing up.

One has been quietly making things for everyone else in her life — small, beautiful, hand-built things — and is finally turning to look at her own life and ask, what about me?

One has lived through something that taught her more about love and aliveness than most of us ever get the chance to learn — and is ready to do something with what she now knows.

One has been the one who handles everything — at home, at work, for her mother — and is finally saying, I am no longer available for this version of my life.

One is at the top of her field and is realizing that her brilliance is the thing she's been smallest about.

They're not in the same place. They're not even after the same thing. But there is one quiet line running through every one of them:

Something is calling, and I don't quite have the words for it yet.

That's enough.

That's the whole invitation.

Five Wednesdays starting tomorrow. A small group of unusually awake women. And me as their guide on a tour of possibilities they haven't yet let themselves imagine out loud.

If something has been pulling at you too — link in the comments.

What are you craving more of?

Not in the vague, “I want more joy” way.

I mean specifically.

More lusciousness?

More adventure?

More art, sweat, candlelight, dangerous honesty, ridiculous earrings, real conversation, better questions, stranger weekends, deeper rest, more color, more appetite, more of the version of you who walks into a room and thinks, “Oh. There I am.”

Your cravings are not random.

They are intelligence.

They are little flares from the life in you that has not given up.

And too many women have spent decades muting those signals so they could be reasonable, responsible, pleasant, low-maintenance, and emotionally available to everyone within a thirty-mile radius.

Darling.

Enough.

Elle is not about becoming a better woman.

It’s about becoming a more vivid one.

It’s a five-week creative interruption for the woman who has been reasonable long enough.

We begin Wednesday.

If something in you just said, “I want that,” trust the signal.

Some women do not need more self-care.

They need a plot twist.

And I don’t mean chaos. I don’t mean blowing up your life. I don’t mean running away to Lisbon with unsuitable men and impractical shoes.

Though let’s not be hasty.

I mean the kind of plot twist where a woman suddenly realizes:

Wait.

This is my actual life.

Not the dress rehearsal.

And I have been waiting to fully inhabit it until I’m more ready, more healed, more secure, more caught up, more convenient, more explainable.

Darling.

No.

Elle is not about becoming a better woman.

It’s about becoming a more vivid one.

We begin Wednesday.

Something new is open, and I want you to know about it.

I've just launched Elle, a five-week live immersion for the woman who has done the work, built the life, and knows, in the quiet, that she's still holding something back.

Here's what I know after thirty-five years of working with women at thresholds: people don't regret what they didn't accomplish. They regret who they didn't let themselves be. And the body knows this before the mind catches up. Desire is directional intelligence. Overriding it has a cost that compounds.

Elle is five weeks of stopping the override. On purpose. With a room of women who are ready.

We work with two forces most programs treat as decoration: Eros, the pull toward aliveness itself, and Moxie, the nerve to move toward it. Five movements. Five weeks. One real-world action taken before we close.

Begins May 20. Five Wednesday evenings. Twenty women. $555.

If something in you just leaned forward, that's the signal worth following.

Two weeks ago.
Eight minutes I recorded for myself on the threshold of a long drive.
(I've been wanting to share some of what has been opening for me. Starting here.)

https://vimeo.com/1181310745

I had the impulse to not only read this poem, but to read it aloud, and to record the moment, as I have been recording many moments during my current glorious, umtameable waterfall of openings and awakenings. Immediately after reading the poem, I got in my car and began the drive from my home outsid...
