Teacher Appreciation Week is here and first up, we are honoring our owner and director, 💫
Ashia began her journey in dance and gymnastics at just 3 years old and trained competitively for years, traveling across the country for national competitions. She trained with Action Gymnastics and was a competitive dancer with , building the strong technical foundation and discipline she now pours into our students every day.
She continued her training at DC Dance Factory and the Nashville School of the Arts, before attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she danced on the UTC Dance Team for 4 years, serving as captain for 3 years, while also teaching dance & gymnastics.
Ashia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship from UTC, and went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Tennessee Technological University while coaching her Alma Mater Dance team The same month she graduated, she opened Divine Dance Studio.
Since relocating to Marietta, GA in 2019, her passion has remained the same: using dance and gymnastics as a way to build confidence, discipline, and purpose in the next generation.
We are so grateful for a studio owner who not only built this studio, but continues to inspire, teach, and lead with heart every single day 💜🖤
