We recently received these beautiful new pieces from local artist Bella Cormier, and they created the perfect opportunity to show how much framing choices can impact artwork.

Both pieces are framed using Roma Country Floater frames, but each frame was selected to support a different color palette within the artwork. One uses a darker frame to complement the deeper, richer tones, while the other uses a white frame from the same collection to play into the lighter and brighter colors of the piece.

The frame is not just a finishing touch. It helps shape how artwork feels in a space and can completely influence the final presentation.

That’s why custom framing is such an important part of the process.

If you have artwork that needs framing, or if you’d like help selecting a frame that complements your space, stop by the gallery or contact our team. We’d love to help you explore your options.

One of the first questions we ask when someone comes into the gallery looking for art is:

“Do you know what size space you’re looking to fill?”

Because wall size matters more than most people realize.

This reel shows how different artwork sizes, and even the same size in different orientations, can completely change the feel of a space. A piece that works perfectly on one wall can feel too small, too crowded, or totally different somewhere else.

Finding the right artwork is about more than just loving the piece itself. It’s also about choosing something that fits the scale and flow of the room in a way that feels balanced and intentional.

Not sure what size would work best in your space? Reach out to us or stop by the gallery. We’re always happy to help you find the right fit.

The right frame should feel like part of the artwork itself.

For these two original paintings by Viktoria Benoni, we selected the Larson-Juhl Colosseum moulding to complement the silver and gold leaf details already incorporated into the paintings. The result is a finished presentation where the frame feels connected to the artwork instead of simply surrounding it.

Custom framing has the ability to completely transform how a piece feels within a space, adding depth, cohesion, and a polished final touch.

Both originals are currently available in the gallery.

Visit us on the Marietta Square to see them in person, or reach out to learn more about how custom framing can elevate your artwork and your home.

It’s not just a landscape. It’s a portrait of a beautiful memory of a place.

That idea is at the heart of Amanda Tanner’s moody landscapes and seascapes featured during May ArtWalk at RobertKent Galleries. Inspired by memory, movement, and emotional connection, Amanda’s work reflects the places that stay with us long after we leave them behind.

Growing up constantly on the move, Amanda began painting landscapes as a way to preserve meaningful places and the emotions attached to them. Her layered textures, atmospheric skies, and moody palettes create paintings that feel both calming and deeply personal.

We’re proud to feature artists whose work tells a story and creates meaningful connection through art. Visit RobertKent Galleries on the Marietta Square to experience Amanda Tanner’s work in person.

We’ve loved seeing how Saltworks Home has incorporated original artwork from RobertKent Galleries throughout their showroom in Ridgeland, SC. Seeing the artwork layered into such a warm and beautifully designed space makes everything feel more personal, collected, and lived in.

It’s also exciting knowing that designers, collectors, and art lovers in Bluffton, Hilton Head, Savannah, and the surrounding coastal communities can experience the collection locally through Saltworks Home, an Authorized Reseller of RobertKent Galleries artwork.

If you’re nearby, stop in and take a look around. We think you’ll leave inspired!

For project inquiries or artwork details, reach out to us or connect with the team at Saltworks Home.

We’re still thinking about the incredible glass artistry of Dan McStocker featured during ArtWalk at RobertKent Galleries.

These sculptural glass candle towers showcase Dan’s signature approach to glass, combining layered finishes, etched botanical designs, and soft illumination to create pieces that feel both modern and organic. As the candlelight glows through the glass, every angle reveals something different.

Dan’s passion for glassblowing began at just 10 years old after watching a live demonstration at a Renaissance Festival. That early fascination grew into decades of study and artistic development, including training at Pilchuck Glass School and the Corning Museum of Glass.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for ArtWalk and experienced these beautiful works in person. Stop by RobertKent Galleries to see more from Dan McStocker and our featured artists.

We have a quick update to share on our Florida Mobile Gallery trip.

We originally shared that this route would begin last week, but there has been a change in plans and the Mobile Gallery is now officially back on the road.

Robert, Emily, and the Mobile Gallery will now be traveling throughout Florida May 11–22, and we still have appointments available for this trip.

This trip’s appointments will feature the curated collection currently traveling with the Mobile Gallery, including works like these from Schu, Kasi Reilly, Jennifer Poe, Brunelle, Max Yoon, and more.

One of the things designers tell us they value most about the Mobile Gallery is the ability to experience artwork in person and in context before making final decisions for a space. Whether you are sourcing for an active install or planning ahead for a future project, we are always happy to help.

Appointments and previews are complimentary, and if you would simply like to learn more about how the Mobile Gallery works, we would love to walk you through it.
