The 2026 Marietta Ice Festival Sponsored by The Glenwood Community success!!!

🧊Yesterday I completed the largest ice project yet since I began using ice as a medium for my artistic visions. 22 300lb clear ice blocks were used to make 21 sculptures placed around downtown Marietta, OH. 20 sculptures were carved ahead of the event over 15 days while the final sculpture sponsored by Glenwood Community used 2 blocks and was carved live for 4 hrs featuring a mama owl with 3 baby owls under her wing, a tribute to awesome my wife and 3 kids! Most designs were selected by our downtown buisness sponsors and I enjoyed trying to transfer their requests and visions into ice.

Although I sculpt alone, I'm surrounded by so much support. A huge thank you to so many that help and make it all happen! My wife Katie for so much help, my parents for transporting the sculptures supplying their delivery truck, Jen Tinkler with Marietta Main Street for making the event grand, all the workers who came at 9am to help load and setup sculptures for 3 hrs! Thank you to my friend Andrea with Hogue's Ts and apparel for making Tshirts and setting up next to us downtown. I appreciate all the support from my friends and our community, can't wait to see what we come up with for next year's festival! 🧊
