We recently decided to add a garden gate to separate our “garden work area” (where we have a potting bench, wheelbarrow, garden cart, as well as our composting yard debris) from the rest of our garden. This old fence section was being stored at my parent’s home, so we put it to use as the beginning of our project. We are pleased to have this path leading to our messier area now somewhat camouflaged.

As most projects go…one thing leads to another. Earlier this month, we added some badly needed storage by way of a wrap-around shelf to our laundry room/pantry. After painting this shelving, I decided to carry the color on to our existing pantry cabinets. Cleaning, emptying and organizing as I went is great way to start the new year. This wasn’t on my “to-do” list before the year ends, but somehow I got this done before the clock strikes midnight!
