I wanted to share this video again since my interview with just came out and this piece is not one that a photo can do justice. This painting is s01d and was previously on view at Miami art Basel, so the info about it being there in December is no longer relevant ♥️💞

My mom found this frame while we were antiquing last June for my birthday. It’s been tucked aside in bins and came with me through my multiple studio moves this past year and now it’s ready for a new home. This one is so special, I considered keeping it for myself but I apparently can’t keep *all* of the cool frames 😭

I thought library etiquette would be to not approach someone working and ask to take pictures of them lol I was wrong. Anyway, I ended up in Des Moines and I couldn’t believe that I wanted to spend the most time at the capital building. But that’s where this epic Victorian library is, so obviously, I had to go be there too.

Working on this still. I know.
