Agape Ballet & Performing Arts is a classical ballet based studio providing quality instruction with the heart to build dancers in a true dance education specifically designed to encourage freedom in movement, mind, body and soul. Our goal is to minister to our dancers within the program and then outreach through dance in our local communities and beyond through our performances. We teach:

Meet Ms. Mary — Line Dance Instructor
What began as a search for a fun new hobby quickly became a passion for Ms. Mary. About 12 years ago, as an empty nester looking for something that combined her love of music and movement, she discovered country line dancing. She began by teaching herself before finding a line dance group in Panama City, where she danced two to three times a week. Following Hurricane Michael, she joined the Panhandle Stompers and continued developing her skills while becoming part of a welcoming and encouraging dance community.
Over the years, Ms. Mary has participated in fundraisers and community events, taught line dancing at birthday parties, and formed many lasting friendships through dance. She has long wanted to bring that same experience to the Jackson County community and share just how enjoyable and accessible line dancing can be.
Ms. Mary encourages both men and women of all experience levels to give line dancing a try. No partner is needed—just a willingness to learn, move, laugh, and have fun!
For Ms. Mary, line dancing is about much more than learning steps. It offers an opportunity to exercise, challenge your memory, improve balance and coordination, relieve stress, and connect with others. Research also supports many of these physical, cognitive, and social benefits of line dancing.
Her goal is simple: create a welcoming place where people can move, make friends, build confidence, and discover the joy of line dancing.
