Some of our favorite spots at Marengo Lakes aren’t the ones you’ll find at every wedding venue.

Our weeping willow has become one of our favorite places for photos, but it’s just one of so many spots around the property!

Between the lakes, the fields, the trees and all the little hidden areas around the grounds, there are so many different options without ever leaving the venue.

We’re currently booking 2027 weddings and still have some great dates available!
(pssst… This wedding was in July and we still have July dates available!)

We realized after our last post that we talked all about being owner-operated… without actually showing us. 😂

So, hi! We’re Allison & Stephen, the faces behind Marengo Lakes.

If you’ve toured with us, planned a wedding here, or attended one of our events, chances are you’ve seen one (or both) of us around. We’re pretty much always here somewhere!

One compliment that we hear quite frequently is that The Lodge is pretty without needing a ton of decor. We love that you can truly make it match your day, vibe, and aesthetic.

Every wedding we’ve had the honor of hosting has been so unique, just like our couples!

It’s always so fun to see how different the space looks each time. No repeats or cookie cutter weddings here!

Marengo Lakes is family owned and family run.

So that means that when you tour The Lodge, you’re meeting either Alli (me) or Stephen.
When you email us, it’s us replying.
And on your wedding day, one of us will be there too!

Because we’re the owners, we know the property inside and out. We love showing couples and their photographers some of our favorite hidden spots for photos that feel a little different.

We have a new addition- say hello to our Wildflower Field! 🌼

This has been something we've wanted to add for a while (remember that list of projects I mentioned?), and seeing it start to come to life has been so exciting!

It is truly alive with bees, dragonflies, and so many colorful flowers!

We wanted another space for ceremonies or cocktail hours or pictures. Alli suggested adding a small wildflower field with maybe an arbor… Stephen dreamed up a half acre design with four 30ft arbor tunnels. Next up, deciding what climbing plants/flowers we want to grow!

We’re always working on improving The Lodge and have had a list that felt never ending since we purchased in 2023.

But as the list finally seems to be getting shorter, I can’t wait to show you the changes!

First up, our ceremony space got an upgrade!

We wanted the path to look like it had always been there, just waiting for our bride to walk towards the love of their life 🤍
