Lavender season is underway in Provence, but not every area reaches its peak at the same time.
The fields around the Luberon, Valensole and Sault all follow slightly different schedules, which means where you choose to go can make a big difference to what you'll see. If you're visiting Provence this summer and hoping to catch the lavender at its best, a little planning goes a long way.
