We had so much fun at our Father’s Day Keepsake Craft event! The children visited various stations, creating special handmade gifts for their favorite guy. ❤️

Wow—what can I even say… today we had something truly special! For the first time ever, we had to turn about a dozen people away from this morning’s exotic animal show because it was completely SOLD OUT.

We got to meet the most beautiful and fascinating animals from around the world, and a huge thank you to Party Animals Express Alison for bringing the experience to life! 🐍🦨🐾

From snakes to a skunk, a cross-bred wild cat, a massive tortoise, and even hands-on moments with cockroaches and centipedes—this was an unforgettable experience. Some brave guests even held snakes around their necks! 😳🐍

A very special thank you to Angela Whittington, founder of the nonprofit Gisubizo Foundation Inc., for sponsoring children to attend this event and making it possible for even more little ones to experience this amazing day. Your generosity and commitment to our community are truly appreciated.

So much learning, so much excitement, and so much fun all around. We truly appreciate everyone who came out and made it such a success.

A little behind-the-scenes moment from our Fox 29 visit that reminded me of something important: don’t be quick to judge.

During filming, Bob Kelly approached a gentleman at the playroom to ask him a question. When he stepped back and didn’t respond, it could have been easy to assume he didn’t want to participate. But the reality was that he is deaf and communicates through sign language.

He was there enjoying the day with his family, supporting our playroom, and making special memories just like everyone else. I’m so grateful they came out because I know that can be a big step for many families.

This was a beautiful reminder that we never know someone’s story. A little patience, understanding, and kindness can go a long way. ❤️

Our Father’s Day Keepsake Craft was such a special morning! 💙

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated the special guys in your lives with us. The children had so much fun visiting the different craft stations and creating heartfelt keepsakes to take home.

A huge thank you to Miss Erika at Kidsprosper Preschool for sharing her creativity and bringing such wonderful craft ideas to our play space. Your talent and dedication helped make this event extra memorable for our families!

POV: The news crew was supposed to arrive at 8:45 AM… it’s 8:47 AM and they’re not there yet.

And suddenly your brain goes into full emergency production mode:

“Did I get the wrong date?”
“Did I miss a call?”
“Did I just get scammed by someone else in my imagination??”
“Are they choosing someone else right now??”

Meanwhile… it’s literally been 2 minutes. 😂

You’re standing there fully dressed, business perfect, already acting like a seasoned TV producer in your head, while reality is just like: “girl… they’re probably still pulling into the parking lot.” AND WAS…..
