Dark, creepy, black and gray horror pieces like this are right in my wheelhouse. Getting to blend beauty with something completely monstrous is the kind of creative challenge that keeps me obsessed with tattooing.

This is one more session on a client who’s trusted me with a lot of really fun work, and I’m beyond grateful for the freedom to keep bringing these ideas to life. I can’t wait to see where we take this collection next.

This client first came to me for the California outline, and at a later appointment we tackled this cover-up, giving an old tattoo a fresh start with a bold American traditional rose.

I always enjoy when clients come back to keep building their collection. Watching a sleeve or patchwork project evolve over time is one of the best parts of this job.
