Ladies from the Pflugerville,Tx Quilt Guild came to learn how its done today. They mastered the barn quilt painting techniques and excelled in their color choices! What a fun day we all had. Everyone brought something to share for a charcuterie board lunch. Did you notice the ants joined our lunch !?

What's better than a barn quilt? 4 barn quilts!
My client wanted to make a statement and brighten her barn. These should do it! 4x4s and a 3x3 .
Each barn quilt has the same light blue-green in it. It's a nod to the LBJ green color her barn was for many years. Did you know that LBJ green is still used for the buildings at the Lyndon Bane Johnson ranch, which is just down the road?

It was 104° outside but we were cool and happy inside! Thanks to the Highland Lakes Quilt Guild for hosting another painting class for new and returning painters. You all are definitely cool!

Oh,my! So many wonderful people came to the show and stopped at my booth this weekend. Lots of barn quilts found new homes and barn quilt kits found someone to work on them. I made new friends and got to check in on some friends that I haven’t seen in awhile.
Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat and learn more about barn quilts. An extra thanks to all who support my barn quilt business. I look forward to working with you in the future. Let me know how I can assist you.

Quilt shows are the best! A building full of happy, creative people who all love to chat. It doesn't get any better.
You know I love color so here's just a few of the fabulous show quilts that caught my eye. You've got to come see them all tomorrow. And of course stop by and say hi to me!
