Here is the cast for the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition.
While we understand that not everyone received the part they hoped for, we are excited to have you all to be a part of this production. We want you to know that it is okay to be disappointed but we also want to encourage you to take this opportunity to grow and strengthen your craft.
We had a very difficult task of choosing these roles based on the large number of talented kids who auditioned. Our committee chose the performers we felt were best suited for each role. Casting decisions are final and we ask that you do not contact any of the directors with comments or complaints. These are difficult decisions. Casting is a careful and thoughtful process. Our goal is to place a large number of kids into a small number of roles.
Our first rehearsal is Monday June 22 at 10 AM SHARP. Please do not wear any sandals or flip flops to rehearsals. We will rehearse Monday through Friday this week from 10 am until noon. No rehearsal on Friday July 3.

The Wizard of Oz
Youth Edition (Auditions Thursday June 18 at 10 AM and 1 PM)
Performances dates – July 25 at 7:00 PM
July 26 at 2:00 PM

This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations. A cyclone transports Dorothy and her dog, Toto, from Kansas Munchkin Land. Unfortunately, they land right on top of the Wicked Witch of the East — not a good thing! As Dorothy and Toto head down the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard and their way back home to Kansas, they meet new friends, each with a wish that they hope The Great Oz can grant for them. A scrawny Scarecrow needs a brain, a rusty Tin Man needs a heart, and a Cowardly Lion needs courage. Click your heels three times and follow the yellow brick road to the Ohnward Fine Arts Center!

If you are unable to make the Thursday June 18 audition we are now holding a separate one on Thursday June 11 from 10 am through 11 am.
