We could not be more proud of our graduating senior Claire Monge on winning not only Best Artist in the Senior Division, but also Best Contemporary Dancer 🤩 We are so grateful to Press Play Dance Convention for our incredible nationals experience, and for allowing so many dancers to shine in their style specific categories! Congratulations Claire, we cannot wait to see what you accomplish next ♥️

Congratulations to our Student of the Week, Aviana Souter!

We are so blessed to have Avi as part of the Larkin family! She truly embodies everything we love about a Larkin dancer: a natural leader, hardworking, respectful, encouraging, and a true friend to everyone around her. She is thriving in Future Legacy, and her beautiful smile and sweet personality bring so much joy to our studio! We are so proud of you, Avi! 💕

Avi started dancing at just two years old and is entering her third year of competition dance! She loves performing, dancing with her best friends, convention classes, acro tricks, and spirit days at the studio. Jazz is her favorite style to perform, but she can’t wait to take the stage with hip hop someday! Outside the studio, Avi loves her Spanish immersion school, swimming, playing outside, family movie nights, french fries, and spending time with her big sister, Amira. She also loves family vacations, with Hawaii, Florida, and Las Vegas among her favorites!

Keep shining, Avi — we love watching you grow and being YOU!

We are so grateful for the opportunity for our dancers to learn from, train alongside, and be inspired by such talented, hardworking, and accomplished athletes. The energy, encouragement, and excellence you shared with our dancers made this such a special experience!

There is nothing better than giving our dancers opportunities to learn from people who inspire them to dream bigger, work harder, and continue growing. We left feeling motivated, grateful, and so inspired! 🩷

Congratulations to our very first Larkin Student of the Week for the 2026-2027 Season: Bella Harris-Zuehlke!

Bella is in her 9th year of dance and 7th year on a competition line at Larkin! She started dancing at Larkin at just 2 years old on our Baby Ballerina Line, and she has been dancing ever since. Bella loves everything about dance—from rehearsals and workshops to performing on stage with her best friends. Her favorite styles are Tap and Jazz, where she loves being sassy, expressive, and showing off her personality.

Outside of dance, Bella loves spending time with friends and family, shopping, sleepovers, bike rides with her dad, and summer days at the park. Her favorite food is spaghetti, she loves Disney World and pandas, and someday she would love to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader!

Bella was chosen as Student of the Week because her personality on stage is infectious. She brings so much energy and joy to every performance, and is always kind to her peers. Bella, we are so proud of you and can't wait to see all that is ahead! We love you! Congratulations 🤩

A moment in our 77-year history that we will hold close forever ❤️ Mrs. Larkin, we hope we’re making you proud….

Thank you to Press Play for the incredible honor of naming Larkin Dance Studio the inaugural recipient of The OPUS Award, and for so beautifully telling the story of the generations who have made Larkin what it is today.

To the incredible faculty who poured into and inspired our dancers all week, thank you. And to every studio who shared that stage with us — your talent, passion, sportsmanship, and artistry made this week truly feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were so honored to stand alongside you.

More than anything, we left reminded of how special this dance community is and how lucky we are to be a small part of it.

To our Larkin Staff: receiving this award was only possible because of you…. We have the most incredibly talented, beautiful people leading our team. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

77 years of Larkin, generations of dancers, and a legacy we will never stop being grateful for ❤️

Happy National Dance Day from our Larkin family❤️

How lucky are we to spend our days doing something we love so deeply, surrounded by people who make it mean even more. For 77 seasons, dance has brought people through our doors — but it’s the friendships, the lessons, the memories, the families, and the community built inside these walls that have made Larkin what it is.

We are endlessly grateful for every dancer who has trusted us with their dreams, every family who has believed in us, every teacher who has poured their heart into the next generation, and every person who has ever called Larkin home. Dance teaches us to work hard. To be brave. To fail and try again. To celebrate each other. To find confidence, connection, and joy. And somehow, along the way, it gives us a family.

We are so proud of this community. So grateful for this legacy. And after all these years, we still love dance just as much as ever. Here’s to the art that has given us so much — and to all the beautiful dancing still ahead ❤️

Absolutely INCREDIBLE watching Larkin alumni Keira Redpath & Caleb Abea light up the stage tonight on Dancing with the Stars! 🤩✨

There is truly nothing better than watching our students live out their dreams. What an amazing opportunity and such an inspiration to all of our dancers watching from home! ❤️

The most PERFECT choreography by the incredible Tessandra Chavez 👏🏼 And we are always so grateful for Derek & Hayley and Dancing with the Stars for continuing to create such special performance opportunities.

That was EVERYTHING!!! So proud of you, Keira & Caleb! Congratulations to all! ❤️✨
