A Message of Thanks to Our Community 💝 ❤️❤️
First of all, we want everyone to know that we hear you. We truly appreciate all the feedback, comments, suggestions, and support we received throughout the event.
We also want to be transparent with our community: our organization did not receive any grants to put this event together. Much of the cost came directly out of our own pockets because we wanted to create something special for everyone. We tried our hardest to bring the best experience possible, but we understand that we may not always meet everyone’s expectations. We will continue listening, learning, and improving.
Pattaya-Inspired Thatched Village
We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing our Pattaya-inspired thatched village.
Unfortunately, the strong winds and heavy rain early Friday morning destroyed many of our tents and umbrellas. As much as we wanted everyone to experience and enjoy the village, we were no longer able to present it the way we had planned.
We are truly sorry if you came expecting to see it and were disappointed that much of it was missing or unavailable.
But we promise, we are bringing it back next year! ❤️
Food & Vendor Variety
We understand that some people wanted more variety and more choices. We cannot offer every type of food or cultural cuisine if vendors from those communities do not apply.
Our hope for next year is to welcome even more vendors from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds so everyone has an opportunity to try something new!
Security & Safety
Security is another major expense that comes directly out of our own pockets. While we may not always be able to provide taller fencing or every security feature we would like, our staff and security team worked hard throughout the event to help keep everyone safe.
