Join us in St. Cloud on Wednesday, 29th for mainstream and plus.

Join us on Wednesday, April 29th as the Beaux & Belles welcome Brad Neutz. Mainstream is from 7:30 until 9:30 followed by plus. Sarah Klaphake will cue rounds. Dancing is at the Whitney Center, 1527 Northway Drive in St Cloud.

Looking for some square dancing road trips? Join Michelle and I as we will be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this Sunday with the Spares and Pairs Square Dance Club...And, we will be in Knoxville, Iowa next Sunday calling the beach party dance. Both are super fun clubs with great people.

Square Dance Callers Convention in Reno is over. Learned alot, socialized and rubbed elbows with the big names, went to Lake Tahoe for some cold weather rock climbing, went to Vegas for the experience - even won a few expenses back, taught some aliens how to Touch a quarter and California twirl.

The new plus teaching order is out.

(New) Plus Program Teaching Order
Implementation Date: September 1, 2026

CALLERLAB is pleased to announce that the Plus Committee has approved two key updates that will guide future instruction for the Plus Program.

1.New Recommended Plus Teaching Order Adopted
Committee members voted to adopt an updated teaching order for the (new) Plus Program.This revised sequence is intended to support clearer, more consistent instruction for dancersand callers.

2.Minimum Instructional Time Established
The committee also approved a new recommendation that the Plus Program calls be taughtin no less than 40 hours of instruction (20 two-hour classes or 27 ninety-minute classes).

Next Steps
The new Plus List will take effect September 1, 2026.
The committee will now begin work on a new Plus Instructional Guide/Playbook to support callers in applying these updates.
