Our goal is education first, but families should also know there can be consequences when safety rules are not followed.

For youth violations:
• A first violation may result in a warning
• A parent or guardian may be notified
• A second violation within 12 months may result in additional consequences
• A device may be impounded when there is an immediate public safety risk or in other circumstances allowed by law

For adults, standard enforcement applies when state law or city ordinance is violated. The goal is to build awareness, encourage safe choices, and promote responsible riding.
