You might think it has a big head. OK, yes it's a big head. I had little to do with it. Blame the clay. Thats not why.
One will look at this bird and think immediately that something is off, not right. The head is outsized, upsized, or just too big.
So instead of looking at a normal bird for a half second and moving on, I get them to linger a little longer. Then they start to grow attached to it, feel a little sorry for the poor little big headed thing. They might want to take it home. But you know what? I'm perfectly happy to have it live here at the Gallery for a while. As long as it does’nt start chirping.
I can't wait to glaze it and see what it turns into.
