Call for volunteers! We need your help to make 2026 PrideFest a success! All volunteers get a t-shirt, and if you volunteer for a ticketed event, you receive a complimentary ticket.

What can you do?

Drag Brunch:

Set up and clean up help needed!

PrideFest:

Vendor set up: help direct traffic and help vendors find their spots, make sure cars are off festival grounds by designated time.

Security: Monitor back entrance to Festival park to make sure no one comes in that way and that all attendees go thru main gate.

Entrance Booth: Sell raffle tickets, count festival attendees, answer questions, maintain communication with festival directors, Set up and display merchandise, sell merchandise, pack away and breakdown tables at end of day

Talent Assistants: assist talent in finding their dressing rooms, help with any requests/needs, give talent times for set up/when they need to be on stage, assist stage manager as directed, clean dressing rooms at end of show

Kids Area: Assist Kitty Hawk Kites staff with building kites with the kids and getting them flying!

Trash: monitor festival area for trash and make sure trash cans are not overflowing, empty trash cans as needed. At end of day pull all trash as needed.

Break down: assist festival directors with breaking down any tables/booths/chairs etc and cleaning up festival grounds!

We are also looking for an assistant stage manager. If you have experience running stage set ups for bands, live theater or any other type of stage show, we want you!

Gigi Monroe broke into the drag scene, ready to shake things after winning Charlie Brown’s Drag Idol contest in 2005. She later began taking on celebrity impersonations, starting with Liza Minnelli and adding Dolly Parton, Gaga, Cher, and many more.

In 2013, Gigi launched her wig-styling business, Gigi Monroe Designs.

Gigi Monroe is joining us all the way from Juneau, Alaska! She’s always ready to put on a good show, make people feel embraced, and hopefully, change a mind or two.
