Walk through time at the Mansfield Covered Bridge with me.

Completed on September 4, 1867 by Joseph J. Daniels, the Mansfield Covered Bridge has stood the tests of time in our Old Mansfield Village. Originated as New Dublin, the Mansfield Hamlet grew into a bustling trade route due to the construction of the Mansfield Covered Bridge which allowed travelers to cross Big Raccoon Creek. As we approach the bridges birthday, we would love for you to join us in celebration at our Inaugural Jubilee in honor of our Bridge Completion Day on Sept 4, 2026 in Old Mansfield Village. We will have a few vendors, penny candy, Historian speakers, and showing a black and white movie on projector near the bridge at dusk. We would love to share stories and learn more about our historical families and any bridge stories that you would love to share. So bring those old photo albums and come on out and sit a spell with us at The Old Country Store this Friday from 5pm until 9pm or so. As an added bonus, the Mill will be open for tours for a few hours at the beginning of our Jubilee as well! Looking forward to spending time with you all!
