The Mass Arts Center (formerly MMAS) provides a cultural home for artists and audiences. The theater is handicap accessible.

Audiences come to The Mass Arts Center because they know they
will see exceptional productions in the newly renovated 100-seat
house of the Reservoir Stage for a fraction of the cost of a ticket in
Boston or Providence. Our mission of educational programs and a variety of live performances that include theater, concerts, and stand up comedy are presented at 888 South Main Street in Mansfield. The

Mass Arts Center is also home to the Morini Art Gallery which
offers exhibitions of works by local and regional artists. The Academy at Mass Arts is the educational branch that offers a
variety of classes and education programs for all ages.

Live music on the water. That is how we are celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday. The Mass Arts Center is throwing a massive outdoor festival Sunday, July 5th on the banks of the Norton Reservoir. Our triple-headerband lineup features the James Montgomery Band, Paper In Fire, and Crushed Velvet.

We have the food trucks covered and the cash bar stocked. The whole afternoon is happening under our big tent, but bring your own lawn chairs to kick back either under the tent or on the lawn.

Right now, two big things are happening at once: 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀.

Both of these are live, which means the general public hasn't touched our seating chart yet. That doesn't happen until June 1st. So if you want the best views in the house, you need to jump in now: 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿!

Beyond getting dibs, there’s one massive benefit to subscribing or becoming a member: total flexibility.

If you’re a subscriber or a member, you aren’t locked into the dates you book. You can swap your seats up to 48 hours before the show starts, as long as there are open seats left (call our office during business hours 1-4 and we'll take care of you!). The general public can't exchange seats.

If you want to subscribe, just pick a 4 or 5-show package. It locks in your seats for $35 a pop with zero fees. If you’d rather go the membership route, it’s $125 a year, which gets you $5 off single tickets (up to two per show) and fee-free booking.

The Mass Arts Center is seeking an organized and detail-oriented stage manager for our upcoming production of 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙮: 𝘼 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚.

This original family play breathes new life into the historic period of Revolutionary Boston through the eyes of an animated, voiced, and named doll. Directed and staged by Dori Bryan-Ployer, this exciting new work 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 as part of Boston's 250th anniversary celebration.

Rehearsals will take place in Mansfield, MA. The show will be blocked and staged in June, followed by weekly or bi-weekly rehearsals to run and polish the material leading up to performances in November 2026.
