Samantha Schneider, an accomplished oil painter residing in Shelby, OH, Schneider carved her artistic niche with massive figurative works that seamlessly blend drama and soft elegance. A proud alum of the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA), Schneider graduated in 2021 wi

th a double major in painting and drawing. Her academic journey was marked by exceptional studio practice, earning her the Eastman (1912)-Bolton Memorial Prize. Additionally, she was honored with the Mary Seymour Brooks Scholarship for Painting and the Liza Noble '48 Scholarship for Excellence in Painting, a testament to her outstanding contributions to the field. She has exhibited work in multiple group and solo shows. Schneider's artistic vision draws inspiration from the theatrical staging of paintings, a technique masterfully employed by Artemisia Gentileschi, one of her foremost influences. This influence is evident in the grandiosity of her figurative works, where each brushstroke conveys a profound narrative and emotional depth. The artist seamlessly weaves drama into her compositions, creating a captivating visual experience for her audience.

💸Budget cuts on a national level have taken away the funding that we utilized to provide free summer camps to students in need within our community.

😢This week we were approached by a family that is unable to afford tuition, and it broke our spirits. We can’t look at this little girl and tell her “no”, when this experience means the whole world to her.

❤️We are determined to close the gap.

🤞Not just for her, but for 9 other local students to attend a special Art Exploration Summer Camp just for them. In this weeklong full-day camp, they will experience everything The MAC has to offer. Painting, drawing, ceramics, glassblowing, sewing, and so much more.

🌞These 10 kids deserve to experience art and have a positive, memorable summer.

Can you help us make it happen?

A single scholarship is $423.00.
Goal $4,230.00.

Donations can be made in ANY dollar amount, but know that if you donate $423.00 you will automatically be providing a full camp to one student in need. (P.S. If the goal is exceeded, we will open more spots!)

Hi there!

My name is Samantha Schneider. I'm an artist that has so much art I'm running out of storage space and student loan payments so high I'm feeling crushed. I love art and always have, I've been cranking out paintings and accumulated so many works that have won awards, been in exhibitions and now I'm looking for good homes for them. In the art world I've been working my way up. This whole time trying to figure out navigating the art world and trying to get in front of the right people (those looking to purchase 8ft art)

I feel like I'm supposed to be an artist. No matter what avenues I go down, creative expression is always comes back around. I'm not willing to give up. I want to keep creating for the rest of my life.

I have been making strides in the art world as a professional artist for 3 years now. This last year I was feeling more drawn to the gym as an escape from my art (Something was missing in my heart I couldn't explain) I wanted to inspire and change people's lives in a more 1 on 1 setting.

I came to the conclusion I didn't want to be one thing my entire life even though I was good at it. I was playing in my comfort zone and not making room for growth. As of now, I have 2 beta clients Im so grateful for and I'm so excited to see what this new adventure has in store for me!
