I created The Hope Phillips Co. Holiday Experience because I've seen how easily the joy of hosting can get lost in the work of preparing for it.

I've watched family and friends spend days cooking, cleaning, planning, shopping, sourcing décor, and trying to bring every detail together. Sometimes, by the time the gathering begins, they're too exhausted to fully enjoy the very holiday they've worked so hard to create.

I wanted to offer a different kind of experience—one that allows hosts to hand off an important part of their preparation with confidence, knowing their holiday table will be thoughtfully curated, beautifully styled, and professionally installed.

My hope is that when someone discovers this service, their first thought is, “What a relief. I don't have to worry about the table this year.”

Because this is about more than how a table looks. It's about making room for people to be present, enjoy their guests, create memories, and experience the joy of the season themselves.

If I can take one meaningful task off someone's plate and give them a little more time to enjoy what matters most, then this experience has accomplished exactly what I intended.

Sometimes I choose the centerpiece first. Sometimes I fall in love with a charger.

But give me the right linen? I'll let her run the whole meeting. That's what I mean when I say Let the Linen Lead.

A beautiful linen can give me the color palette, mood and direction for an entire table before I've chosen anything else.

That's also why I don't believe every beautiful table needs more. When the linen is doing its job, sometimes the best design decision is knowing when to stop.

Pretty Linen Freak Rule #1: Let the linen lead.
Rule #2: White linen has its place. But sometimes we need a little personality.
Rule #3: Pattern is not the enemy. Bad editing is.
Rule #4: If I stop mid-conversation to touch the linen...mind your business. 😂

Apparently, I was a Pretty Linen Freak before I knew I was a Pretty Linen Freak.

Meet Tropical Noir.

I purchased this linen several years ago, long before Pretty Linen Freak had a name—and before I fully understood just how much beautiful linen would become part of the way I design.

Looking back at this table now, I can see it.

The linen wasn't simply covering the table. It was leading the design.

The bold black-and-white pattern. The tropical greenery. The unexpected pop of pink. From there came the tabletop, napkins and all the little details that made the table feel complete.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped thinking of linen as the background and started seeing it as the beginning.

And that design philosophy is a big part of what eventually became the Curated Tablescape Collections by Hope Phillips Co.

So it seems only fitting that Tropical Noir gets one of the first introductions.

Tropical Noir — bold, playful and definitely not interested in blending into the background.

I've thoughtfully paired the linen, tabletop details, napkins and florals to create complete designs that work beautifully together.

You choose the collection that speaks to you. We bring the design to life.

We deliver. We style. We set the table. And after the celebration, we retrieve our inventory.

These collections are especially perfect for showers, intimate celebrations, milestone dinners and hosts who want their tables to feel special—but don't necessarily need full event planning.

And here's something you may not know…

Pretty Linen Freak didn't really start when I gave it a name.

Looking back through my work, I realized I've been drawn to beautiful linen for years. Somewhere along the way, linen stopped being simply something I put on a table and became something I could actually design from.

That's what these collections are about.
