Bass Player Wanted — Red Dirt Road (Country Band)

Red Dirt Road, a Midwest-based country band, is seeking a dedicated bass player to join our lineup.

About the Band
Red Dirt Road performs top 40 country music throughout the Midwest, playing bars, festivals, and private events. We run a professional show and a professional business, and we're looking for someone who can commit to 50-60 dates a year and work within that schedule.

What We're Looking For

Solid command of electric bass — experience is helpful but not required; if you've got the drive to perform at a high level, this is the opportunity for you
Ability to learn setlists quickly and play tight with a live rhythm section
Reliable transportation to rehearsals and gigs, or ability to make bus call in Mankato
Own bass and gear in good working condition; the band uses in-ears and can supply the unit, but you'll need your own ear pieces
Professional attitude — on time, prepared, easy to work with
Vocal harmony ability a big plus

Commitment

Gigs: 4-7 per month in summer; 4-5 per month in winter
Pay: Above standard rate for the right person

How to Apply
Send a short video or audio clip of yourself playing(links are fine), along with your name and contact info, to [email protected] or call 507-382-3484. We'll follow up to set up a rehearsal/audition.

Back in the day, way back! I remember getting these two albums for Christmas. I wore them out. As I reflect over the years I can’t believe that not only do I get to relive those memories but I still get to perform at a high level every weekend! I can’t wait to see everyone Friday night at Treasure Island. I’m personally working on a new show for November and beyond and can’t wait.

🚨Update🚨
