📺 A Couple of Our Festival Leads Were on Minnesota Live

Last Friday morning, a couple of our amazing Festival Leads represented the Great Northern Viking Festival on Minnesota Live!

They did a wonderful job sharing the excitement, energy, and Viking spirit of the festival with viewers across Minnesota. I’m so grateful they stepped up, went on camera, and helped showcase what makes our festival and community so special.

⚔️ Let’s Help Send Hexxen to Norway! ⚔️

After bringing their powerful music and unforgettable presence to A Night in Valhalla, Hexxen now has the opportunity to take the stage at Midgardsblot in Norway this August.

Being invited to perform at a festival like Midgardsblot is a huge accomplishment, but getting an entire band and their equipment overseas comes with a major cost. Hexxen has created a GoFundMe to help make this opportunity possible.

Whether you donate or simply share the fundraiser, every bit of support helps Hexxen take this next step.

What an unforgettable performance from Hexxen at A Night in Valhalla 🔥⚔️

From the moment they took the stage, they had the crowd completely captivated. Their powerful opening set the tone for an incredible show, their vocalist delivered a jaw-dropping high note that gave us chills, and when the fire dancers of Bellaterra joined them on stage, the entire performance became pure magic.

The combination of music, fire, movement, and atmosphere was absolutely entrancing. It felt less like a concert and more like stepping into a saga brought to life.

A huge thank you to Hexxen for bringing such energy, passion, and talent to our festival. And thank you to BellaTerra Dance for adding an unforgettable visual spectacle that had everyone watching in awe.

And just like that... the horns have gone silent, the fires have burned low, and another incredible Great Northern Viking Festival has come to an end.

To every guest, vendor, volunteer, performer, reenactor, sponsor, and staff member—thank you for making this year's gathering one for the sagas. Your laughter, stories, support, and Viking spirit brought this village to life.

As we pack away the tents and say our farewells, remember that every ending is just the beginning of the next adventure.
