Two more days to the kick-off of Metro Jam. Before we bog you down with too much info lets focus on Friday's incredibly diverse lineup!

Friday night kicks off at 5:30pm with a special tribute to Manitowoc radio station WOMT as they celebrate their 100th Anniversary with an in-person edition of The Jim & Rick Show LIVE from Metro Jam.

Immediately following this WOMT 100 tribute at 6:30pm will be the blues/rock of local favorites The Fordney Brothers Band and Friends; featuring a 90 minute showcase highlighting their 55 year musical journey.

Topping off the evening at 8:30pm it is the nu-metal music of Manitowoc’s Psycho Logic.

Four more days to the Kick Off of this year's Metro Jam with the Jim and Rick Show celebrating 100 years of WOMT Radio!

Many of us have great memories of WOMT throughout our lives. From the music they played to the local news, sports and weather coverage to the iconic radio personalities that helped shape our lives. While other media coverage has changed; WOMT and their sister stations have stayed committed to our Lakeshore area and an even expanded broadcasting area. Thanks for all you continue to do for the Metroplex! We look forward to this celebration of 100 years with Jim and Rick! Be there!!!

The Fordney Brothers Band

The Fordney Brothers Band is back in town! The band, first formed in 1971, is made up of all former and current Manitowoc residents; Mike and Ted Fordney on guitar and bass respectively, Tommy “Kielbasa” Chermak on guitar, Dean Peterson on harmonica and more. In addition, joining the brothers as special guests, are keyboardist and Grammy award winner, Dennis Wage, saxophonist John Salerno, drummer extraordinaire Bill Knipfer and helping out on vocals Biff Hansen. The band’s repertoire runs the gamut from rock and blues to R&B and much more. As a salute to the musical breeding ground known as “the Lakeshore”, the FBB will be covering Handbag’s “Heartache” along with Bryan Lee’s version of B.B. King’s “Beautician Blues”, plus Spiders featuring BBQ Bob!! Sprinkled throughout the set will be some well-crafted originals guaranteed to ignite the Metro Stage! Be there!!
