Based on the cult-classic horror films that launched Bruce Campbell into legend, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL combines horror, comedy, rock music, outrageous special effects, and enough fake blood to make your dry cleaner nervous.

This isn't community theatre as usual.

This is chainsaws.
This is demons.
This is possession.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while we labored, weak and weary...

The Mikadow Theatre is closed this weekend.

Behind locked doors and beneath dimming lights, our stage is being transformed into something darker. The familiar walls of Mikadow are giving way to a world of ravens, shadows, lost loves, and lingering madness as we prepare for Poe: Nevermore.

For only two nights, June 12 & 13, the works and imagination of Edgar Allan Poe will take residence upon our stage. Candles will flicker. Stories will unfold. And the line between reality and nightmare may become just a little unclear.

As you descend into Poe's world, we invite you to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Annabelle Lee Bar, featuring specialty themed cocktails inspired by the tales and characters that have haunted readers for generations.

The bells toll. The raven watches. The hour approaches.

And when these two nights have passed, they shall return...

Nevermore.

As we take a short pause this weekend, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We’ll be back soon with more films, live events, and upcoming performances as we continue preparing for an exciting summer at the Mikadow, including Poe: Nevermore and Evil Dead: The Musical.
