Green Horse Gallery is featuring the work of Patti Bryant in June. Many of her pieces are mosaics, which she feels give life to ordinary objects. Bryant works with shapes of colored tiles and found objects on birdhouses and vases. She also constructs collages using paper on wood. Her art is spontaneous, colorful, playful and happy. They bring a smile to people who see them.
The gallery, 729 Manitou Ave. in Manitou Springs, is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. every day. Information: 719-685-0636 or greenhorsegallery.com.

A nationwide general strike and boycott are planned for May 1, 2026 (May Day), urging people to skip work, school, and shopping to protest immigration policies, support worker rights, and demand the abolition of ICE.
