Manito Popcorn Festival

👋❤️🍿 As we make our final preparations for the Manito Popcorn Festival, we want you to be aware of road closures around the park. (Please see the map.)

🛑 E. Mason Street and N. Washington Street (south and west of the park) will be CLOSED to ALL TRAFFIC AND PUBLIC PARKING during the entire festival starting Friday, September 4, at 3:00 p.m. until Sunday, September 6, at 5:00 p.m. 🔺 E. State Street (north of the park) will be closed from Wednesday, September 2 to Monday, September 7, for the carnival.

🟢 E. State Street & N. Washington Street (marked in green) will be CLOSED to ALL TRAFFIC AND PUBLIC PARKING on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the Parade and Car Show.

🔵 The area marked in dark blue is reserved for ACCESSIBLE PARKING ONLY. These are on the south side of the Community United Methodist Church.

🩵 The Popcorn Festival Parade Route is marked in light blue. The parade begins at Midwest Central High School at the corner of S. Washington and Southmoor at 10:00 a.m.

The 2026 Manito Popcorn Festival starts ONE WEEK from today! We'll have:
🔹Over 30 food vendors
🔸Over 30 craft vendors
🔹FREE popcorn 🍿
🔸Carnival rides & games
🔹Plus EVERYTHING you see on the schedule! 🧐

It takes many hours and volunteers to prepare for the festival. Now, we need YOU🫵 to make it a success! ❤️ Traditions run strong at our festival, but you will see a few changes and a few new events! We hope to see you on Labor Day weekend. We'll be "Popping with Patriotism!" ❤️🍿🤍🍿💙🍿

Hi friends! We are 45 days away from the 2026 Manito Popcorn Festival. Plans are coming along well and you will start to see events posted right here! Updates will also be appearing on our website at www.manitopopcornfestival.com.

Our volunteers have been working behind the scenes to bring some new ideas to the festival and we hope you're going to love what you see!

We pride ourselves on offering FREE or LOW-COST events to our attendees, but that also means we are looking for sponsors. We graciously accept donations from individuals and businesses.
