Hideaway Circus is a circus, dance, and multi-media producing company founded and run by Brooklyn based creators Josh & Lyndsay Aviner. The company’s original theatrical productions include: an all American open-air touring circus titled Stars Above; an Off Broadway two-time Drama Desk nominated dance show Beyond Babel, a ‘Critics Pick’ of the The New York Times described as “astonishing and irre

sistible”; and the genre-defying slasher circus night-club experience Slumber described by Time Out NY as "contemporary, sexy and a little bit dangerous." Josh and Lyndsay have released over 100 episodes of Hideaway Circus Podcast. Starting in 2015, the shows feature industry news analysis and interviews with creators in the circus, dance, and theater arts. In 2018, the company created a series of circus and dance experiences designed specifically to be watched in a virtual reality headset.

olsen and were OG Season 1 cast members of and we feel so lucky and blessed to have had them as part of this journey. They each brought so much heart, soul, humor, and vulnerability to the creation of these characters and their imprint will continue on through out every iteration.

These absolute legends learned the show/new tracks in ONE WEEK 🥵 spending a week with these fabulous humans was beyond joyous. Being in a space filled with positivity, support, dance, laughter, celebration is so rare these days.

Shoutout to our dance Captian for leading the charge and for our insanely talented male swing for supporting this week.

These people SLAYED. Can’t wait for everyone to see them DANCE. 💃 🕺 🪩

A peek into rehearsals for this past month. ✨

Being in the room together with this group of people is magic. So much laughter hard work. Creating a totally original show takes an incredible amount of trust from every artist and collaborator on the team- and let me tell you- that was FELR during this process.

These workshops are all about trying, trying something new, scratching that. Trying something new again. Going back to the original idea and then….maybe writing three new numbers and rearranging the entire show 😅
