🎶 The New York Philharmonic ’s Lunar New Year Concert & Gala marked its 14th year this Tuesday! 🧧 It was also the NY Phil debut for conductor Tianyi Lu and Korean violinist Inmo Yang in composer Chen Yi’s Chinese Folk Dance Suite.

✨The Gala honored Angela Chen and celebrated her contribution to the Lunar New Year celebrations at the NY Phil!

This past weekend, China Institute in America , in collaboration with Prince Kung’s Palace Museum from Beijing, hosted an incredible Lunar New Year celebration filled with culture, creativity, and joy!

From crafting fragrance sachets and shadow puppets to designing lacquer fans and wood crafts, visitors of all ages had the chance to experience traditional Chinese artistry while welcoming the Year of the Snake. 🐍🏮

It was truly special to see so many families come together to celebrate and immerse themselves in these hands-on experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined in making this event such a memorable one! 🎊
