One became two, two became three… and now I have an entire Christmas cat squad lounging on my quilt like they pay rent.

This little Christmas runner was my sister’s very first quilting project. She was so nervous while making it that a few parts ended up a little crooked, and she was disappointed when she noticed. But when I look at it, I don’t see the imperfections at all. I see the patience, the courage to try something new, and all the love she stitched into every little piece. To me, that makes it absolutely perfect.
