Mark your calendars! The Third Thursday season is nearly here!

On the third Thursday of each month from May through September, our Downtown neighborhood comes alive with art, music, performance, and community. Third Thursday fills the downtown sidewalks, public spaces, and local businesses. All events are outdoors, 5–8pm. Each date brings its own unique lineup, so come to as many as you can!

Quick reminder that the current Art Show is wrapping up soon! 🎨 You've still got time to stop in and take it all in before the show ends the week of March 23rd.

This Art Show features the Manhattan Art Society, a group of about 25 artists, who get together and work on projects and share tips and advice weekly. Their main goal is to let their skills in art grow, and to promote art with the communities of North Central Kansas.

"Our group concerns itself with primarily the two-dimensional aspects of art, such as drawing and painting. Many of our members have art degrees from many of the colleges and universities in Kansas. Several have taught the subject, and all of our art majors, share their abilities with all members as we paint/draw together."

New Exhibition Opening – Manhattan Art Society Members Show

Join us Saturday, February 7th, 2026, from 5–7 PM for an evening celebrating local creativity and community!

Downtown Manhattan Inc. is proud to host the Manhattan Art Society as they present a new exhibition showcasing a dynamic variety of artwork across both downtown galleries:

Artist Panel Discussion: 6 PM
